The PP seems to be smaller. I have the CPP but it’s a bit big for EDC comfort. So I bought the Pro Pack 24L having compared it directly to the CPP24 in a store in London. I just returned from a 2 week holiday in Italy, where i used it as my carry-on bag.
The CPL has plenty of lash points. CPL24 does not feel like a 24 Liter backpack. It feels cramped and small. I owned the Evergoods X Carryology Phoenix and when comparing it to the City Pack Pro, I think the City Pack Pro is superior. The front admin panel and quick access pockets are way more usable. You'll have to pay 3% customs plus VAT plus an eventual handling fee of the carrier, if the carrier manages the customs process for you. The calculation with 19% VAT is: (Price * 0.03) + (Price * 1.03 + Shipping) * 0.19 + handling fee. This will end up in the region of 25 to 30 percent of the price including shipping. lionboars. Liking the look of the X-Pac is another reason, but I wouldn't switch just for the 0.1 lbs weight difference. That's the difference between a full water bottle and an almost full water bottle. I have used this for several trips but haven't tested it out fully with water. Actually, you do have a point in terms of the weight difference.
