A word of warning: When collecting clay the dwarf or dwarves collecting it will be covered in clay. If you don't have a place for them to clean up there will be tons of clay everywhere. Designate a useless zone over the bed (like office, or clay gathering spot). Assign one of your dwarves to any of the medical positions in the hospital, and give him all the medical labors. Your injured dwarf goes to rest in the bed, and your medical dwarf will diagnose him. Then you'll know what else you need. #4.
