The EITMS comes on lately, I believe due to the higher temperatures we have had here in Florida of late. It does not come on in cooler conditions or when driving consistently on streets and highways. It seems to activate due to light stop and go traffic, as per the design of the EITMS, albeit a bit sensitive.It helped, but still a lot hotter than the old 80" EVO and the 88" TC. I decided to turn the EITMS on. Turned the ignition to "ON" with the bike off. Rolled the throttle forward and held it until the EITMS showed "enabled" on the screen. I thought that odd, but figured Harley set the trigger temperature fairly low to make sure the engine didn’t get too hot at stops. As the weather warmed up, I noted that the EITMS would activate all the time at stops.
