If having a bayfront view--and I mean right ON the water is something you have always desired AND you can afford the rates at Inn Above Tide --go for it! Casa Madrona was a very pleasurable stay for me, but it is tucked back into town. We loved our stay at the Inn Above Tide. Everyone we encountered from the front desk, valet and bell staff went above and beyond to accommodate. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the bay - next time, we will opt for the second floor with the private balconies.
